A Culinary Experience Rooted in Tradition
At our eco & satvik restaurant, every dish is a tribute to Bastar’s timeless culinary heritage. Prepared fresh on order, we use only locally sourced, chemical-free ingredients—never frozen or mass-produced. Quality ingredients are paramount in our kitchen. Our kitchen is run by a community of skilled village women who cook on traditional wood-fired chulhas, following ancient tribal techniques that enhance both flavor and nutrition. The use of local spices and slow-cooking methods ensures that every meal is wholesome, authentic, and packed with rich, earthy aromas.
Exclusive Delicacies You Won’t Find Anywhere Else
Our pure vegetarian menu is crafted to suit our guests' preferences while preserving the essence of mindful eating. We take pride in offering signature dishes that are unique to our kitchen, such as Mishra Dal, Gud/Laai Laddu, Kheer, and Gulgula Bhajiya. Our hand-ground chutneys, made on a sil-batta, bring out deep, rustic flavors that modern kitchens simply cannot replicate. Every bite is a reflection of age-old traditions, prepared with love and care.
An Immersive, Earth-Friendly Dining Experience
Beyond just food, we offer an experience that connects guests with nature and simplicity. Every meal is served in beautifully handcrafted earthen utensils, enhancing both the taste and the sensory experience. The warmth of clay pots, the fragrance of wood-fired cooking, and the authenticity of slow-cooked meals create a dining atmosphere that is both soulful and sustainable. Whether you seek a peaceful retreat or an unforgettable taste of rural India, our restaurant promises a journey back to the roots of pure, conscious eating.
Important Note
Our property does not have a conventional walk-in restaurant; instead, we offer a thoughtfully curated dining experience that requires advance reservations. To ensure the freshest quality, all meals must be ordered at least three hours in advance. This allows us to procure farm-fresh vegetables and ingredients directly from local village farms, supporting sustainable practices and preserving authentic flavors. Every dish is then slow-cooked over traditional wood-fired chulhas, infusing it with rich, earthy aromas and a depth of taste that modern cooking methods cannot replicate. Our meals are priced on a per-person basis, allowing guests to enjoy a wholesome, personalized culinary experience rooted in tradition and purity.
